48 Royal Marine Commandos

The club is delighted to be able to host and support the disbandment of the 48 Royal Marine Commandos on the 4th June. The ceremony is taking place between Shore house and the memorial on the foreshore, with the main ceremony starting at 1500.

In order to comply with COVID guidelines we need to ask you the membership to be mindful of this event at the club, the Main Hall and Patio are reserved from 12 noon for the ceremony and private guests, but we are opening the upstairs of Shore house for the members to enjoy Food and drinks, the evening Bar and catering will be back in the main hall once cleaned after the ceremony, and usual Friday opening hours are unaffected.

If you wish to view part of the ceremony, then all I ask is that you are aware of the restrictions on numbers and gatherings, please view from either the balcony or the road way in front of the club, we will be keeping part of the garden open for members to still enjoy and access the balcony, I have attached the order of the ceremony and some interesting details about the 48 Commandos
